Artist Information

Painted in a bravura style in oil on canvas Pat's landscapes reflect his long association with the rural fields and quiet back roads of the Delmarva region, in particular the areas in and around the Talbot County region of Maryland. These paintings, rendered in bold brushwork and often intense, pure colors, seek to capture times and places that are fast disappearing from the Eastern Shore of Maryland as more and more of the region is transformed from estuarian salt marsh and agrarian field to commercial and residential properties.
